About the plot:

5/11/22. "An anthropomorphic bird-person in formal military dress in the style of Emanuel Leutze". If you've seen my stories for the last couple days, you know how much effort went into making this plot! I'm proud of and excited by this piece for a few reasons. One, it was my very first output from the new and exciting AI technology #Midjourney. It's amazing how much AI technology for creating art has come in even just the last year! I had a lot of fun integrating the output from that into my creative process. . Secondly, this plot breaks all sorts of personal records for me; I always love a challenge and pushing myself, and this one took it to the next level. I used very fine 0.2mm nibs for the entirety of this 19" x 24" design, which took the robot 27 hours and 48 minutes just to plot; a new personal record! (Of course this doesn't include time spent rendering and iterating, simulating, prepping, etc). And a new fun stat that I'm going to start keeping track of, which I doubt will be beating again any time soon; pen lifts! The robot had to lift the pen 61,978 times while drawing the 6,169.43 feet of lines necessary to finish. I definitely don't think I'd broken over a mile of lines in one design, until now! . Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy! If you have other ideas like this one you'd love to see get made, definitely feel free to reach out! I like to think I'm a friendly guy, and I do genuinely enjoy receiving messages and chatting with all of you. :D
